Ariana Grande takes a break after extremely rough time

Ariana Grande is having a really hard time and she needs “one okay day.”

The “No Tears Left To Cry” singer has been going through a really hard time these past two years. Ari’s distressed tweets came after Mac Miller, her ex-boyfriend of two years and best friend for a long time, passed away after an apparent overdose. The singer cancelled her scheduled Emmy performance which was set on September 17 and has tweeted a few words showing the toll these past events had on her.

Mac’s passing wasn’t the only traumatizing experience Ariana had to deal with recently. The unfortunate suicide bombing that took place shortly after she got off stage in Manchester last year and resulted in the death of 22 people and the injury of 59 had left her deeply troubled. The singer’s recent “No Tears Left To Cry” was connected to that event as she also revealed the emotional scars they left her with citing struggles with anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.

“I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well. […]Time is the biggest thing […] I feel like I shouldn’t even be talking about my own experience – like I shouldn’t even say anything. I don’t think I’ll ever know how to talk about it and not cry.”

Ariana’s fans went to her support after she tweeted pleading for “one okay day” as she is “so tired.” She followed those tweets sending love back to those who wished her well.

One of her team members disclosed that the artist will be taking some time off to recover.

“Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend. She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding.”

We hope Ari takes the time she needs to recover and get better. We all go through bad times and feel like the world is not giving us a break and what she had to deal with in the past two years cannot be easy on anyone. We love you Ariana and wish you the best <3
