Bazzi new video will take to Paradise
Bazzi is in his own version of Paradise in his latest music video for the track, “Paradise.”
Although Bazzi looks and sounds like he’s living in vacation bliss, the artist could not be more busy releasing music and doing festivals all over.
“Paradise” has the 21-year-old singer and songwriter experiencing a Groundhog Day of Friday Nights, which to him are utmost bliss. Between the drinking, smoking, partying, and being with his girl, we can’t really argue that could simply be paradise.
With writing and co-producing the track, Bazzi obviously had a lot of himself put into it as well as trying to bring that feeling of “paradise” to listeners and viewers;
“It’s not about a location or vacation, it’s about portraying the feeling of ‘Paradise’ that can truly exist anywhere. For me, I always think so vividly of my Friday nights when I was in high school. I feel nostalgia and mystery around them and I really wanted to capture those feelings in this record. When people listen, I want to take them back to those times and give them that mood and feeling.”
The video was directed by Bon Duke and shot in Mexico City. It launches with Bazzi decked in a full on tuxedo and surrounded by a string quartet before it gets crazy but in the most serene and calming way. The color blue dominates the video from wardrobe to visuals through setting.
“Paradise” will be featured in the upcoming rom-com The Sun Is Also A Star, which will be released on May 17.
